Introducing The Protagonists... Pete Wentz

Ah, where to begin? Pete Wentz is probably most well known as the front man of the wildly popular pop punk sensation Fall Out Boy. Or maybe as that emo kid who was naked on the internet. Either way Pete Wentz has clawed his way into the limelight and shows no signs of leaving. Through his record label Decaydance, Wentz has launched some of today's biggest bands including Panic At The Disco and Gym Class Heroes. He also maintains a successful clothing line called Clandestine Industries which has secured major partnerships with big names such as DKNY and Nordstroms. Recently Wentz has turned his focus towards humanitarian efforts by working closely with Invisible Children to raise awareness for causes such as captive child soldiers in the Ugandan civil war. He has served as a music supervisor for The Hills, guest starred in One Tree Hill, starred in a short film entitled Goodnight Moon and worked with Seth Green on his upcoming film Sex Drive. Wentz is currently engaged to Ashlee Simpson.

New Video That You Should Watch

I know this was on my other blog but this one needs more content. Tyga is Travis McCoy's (Gym Class Heroes) cousin who recently got signed to Decaydance (Pete Wentz's label) and Young Money (Lil Wayne's label). This song 'Cocunut Juice' is gonna be one of those anthems that everybody in the entire world knows and loves soon enough, I can tell. Just wait, total summer jam.

Introducing The Protagonists... Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne is someone you're gonna have to know to understand a lot of my future posts, hence the title. Weezy F. Baby is quite simply the best wordsmith in hip hop today. He can turn anything into a rhyme ("I can say 'Don't rhyme' and it's gon' rhyme") which is why his freestyles are so amazing. His singles always top the charts and his albums always sell quite handsomely. But if you want the best of this New Orleans D-Boy you have to check out his mixtapes. He cranks one out like every month and they're pretty much all free. In my opinion they are the rawest songs in hip hop at the moment. My personal favorite is Da Drought 3. Go download it for free.

lets get this first post awkwardness out of the way

so my name's andrew. i have another blog (xvaudevillainx.blogspot.com) that i started about a year ago to vent about "feelings" and such emo things and to have a place to post my writing. however, it slowly lost a little bit of focus through posts about music and books and other generally pointless things so i decided i'd just make another blog for all that so the original could keep its original purpose. this is that blog. enjoy.
